When liaising with Gleeson and Forces Property Direct, Jason viewed several Gleeson developments and subsequently purchased a two bedroom, fully furnished ex-show home on a popular Gleeson development in Middlesbrough. This was ideal for Jason as he didn’t want to be in a position where he would have to spend time renovating a second hand home with old furnishings, and wanted to be able to move straight in.

After getting settled into life as a homeowner, Jason has found that he loves leaving his barracks on a Friday and coming home to his own space. He is enjoying being in a homely environment and can now switch off properly from work. He has made new friends on his development and his only regret is that he wishes he had bought sooner.

I no longer stay at my army barracks on weekends, and instead come home to enjoy my spacious home and garden. I don’t know why I was so afraid to take the plunge into homeownership, but I’ve finally done it, and I’m so proud that I have.”
