After looking at other housebuilders, Sue was drawn to Gleeson due to the location of her development and affordability. Sue soon discovered that if she bought with Gleeson, she would be able to buy a detached property, whereas with other housebuilders her budget only stretched to a semi-detached home. With Sue having elderly parents, she was delighted that her development was just a five minute drive from their house, plus plenty of great amenities and the train station, providing easy access to Leeds.
Due to being a Nurse at Leeds Teaching Hospital, Sue received £1,000 towards extras as part of our Key Worker Priority Scheme, which she used to upgrade her kitchen. Since moving in, Sue has become part of the community, and loves having the space to have her Granddaughter Lyla to stay over.
Sue said: “Since purchasing my home, I feel like I’ve got a new lease of life. After splitting up with my partner I was apprehensive for what the future held for me, but now I’ve got my forever home in place, life is plain sailing. The buying process with Gleeson was so smooth, I felt at ease the whole time, and I loved viewing various show homes to get inspiration for when I moved in. My home was very affordable to buy, which means I am able to regularly treat my family, particularly my Granddaughter who has her own bedroom here and loves coming to stay. I’ve also been able to buy a dog which has been a lifelong dream of mine.”
